Crammond Island

Type: Fishing Vessel (ss)
Date of loss: 02/04/1941
Depth (seabed): 67m
There is a good chance this is the 180 gross tons Crammond Island; she was a fishing vessel until requisitioned by the Admiralty and converted to a boom gate vessel. She was sunk by friendly fire, from a British aircraft, now lying on an even keel, upright.
