Ring the Norwegian steamship was sank by the Submarine UC-41 on the 3rd March 1917. The wreck is fairly intact with her bow and stern standing up over 6m from the seabed; the mid ship has been destroyed. In 2010 a St Abbs dive boat recovered 2 bells in 3 days from her, confirming the identity.
